INTRALOT’s subsidiary in Poland, Totolotek, has
received a 6-year Internet betting license from the Polish Ministry of Finance.
According to the license granted, Totolotek will provide to players in Poland
Fixed Odds Betting and Sport Pool Games through the Internet. The Company’s
plans regarding interactive gaming in Poland also entail the development of
Live Betting.
Mr. Fotis Mavroudis, Managing Director Europe/North Africa Region of INTRALOT Group, stated: “We are pleased to inaugurate a new access point to our betting offerings for our customers in Poland. Totolotek’s interactive operations in Poland, expected to commence in the 4th quarter of 2013, will be developed on INTRALOT’s state-of-the-art technology and will complement its already successful land-based operations in the country.
Totolotek is a historical company in the Polish Gaming market and exists in its current form since 1992. As operator of mutual betting in Poland, Totolotek has reinforced its presence in the market since 2005, when it was acquired by INTRALOT, achieving to become a leading company in Poland with approximately 400 points of sales countrywide. In doing so, Totolotek has created and maintained more than 1.000 jobs while it contributes to State Budget and Sports Associations with approximately €9 mill. per annum.
