Montenegro's Government and Microsoft set to continue cooperation
Montenegrin Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Information Society and Telecommunications Vujica Lazović met Tuesday with the Microsoft’s delegation, headed by Takuya Hirano, Microsoft's General Manager for Central and Eastern Europe.
The meeting discussed the enforcement of the existing Agreement on Strategic Partnership between Montenegro’s Government and Microsoft, as well as the implementation of projects focused on the improvement and development of eGovernnment service.
DPM Lazović and Microsoft representative also agreed to continue to provide support for Montenegro’s education system, as well as for the private sector in terms of the education and training of local companies’ IT experts for the development of Microsoft services.
The meeting laid particular stress on the possibility of opening the Microsoft's innovation centres and technological park, which would be used for developing and testing Microsoft services and products before putting them on the market, which would contribute to economy and new business development in Montenegro.
